Bed Bug Heat Treatment
Bed Bug Heat Treatment
Also known as Thermal Remediation, Heat Treatment Extermination of bed bugs is proven to be the most effective solution to get rid of bed bugs. Bed bugs will not survive at extreme temperatures. At 70°F, they will live and even flourish, laying eggs and spreading quickly. However, when the temperature rises near 140°F, the bed bugs and their eggs cannot survive.
Our approach to exterminating bed bugs…
Bed Bugs Gone Heat Solutions is the leader in the bed bug treatment industry. The most effective solution for a complete bed bug eradication is a system combining innovative technology and convective methodologies.
We use portable electric convection heaters to elevate the ambient temperature to a level that is lethal for bed bugs. These eco-friendly devices disperse heated air throughout the room, warming every location that pests might hide. This method eliminates the requirement to use toxic pesticides inside your home and the potential for lingering chemical residue. Best of all our professionally trained technicians can safely eliminate the bed bugs in one treatment! And without damaging your home.
Additional Benefits of Heat Remediation Services
This process is more than just raising the temperature of the air. Primarily convective heating, this is a system that deploys a combination of heaters and air movers which results in decreased odors and the reduction and/or the removal of many pathogens including dust mites (and associated allergens), bacteria, viruses and VOCs.
What to Expect with Heat Treatment Extermination
We begin with a thorough inspection to identify the level of bed bug infestation. Treatment will require all residents to evacuate the home/premises so that we may safely prepare the site for the extermination. Our thermal remediation treatment will be completed once the premises have reached a temperature of 140 degrees Fahrenheit in all areas and sustained this temperature for a minimum period of 4-6 hours. Once the heat treatment is complete, at your discretion our team will then begin to apply either an all natural liquid residual, or minimal amounts of one of the most effective high-end liquid residuals on the market currently for extended coverage. Finally, once temperatures have returned to safe levels we will then advise you of the ability to re-enter then home/premises. We recommend a period of 8-12 hours to allow thermal treatment to be as safe and effective as possible.
In case of infestation, there is no need to dispose of mattresses, box springs, bedding, carpeting, furnishings or belongings when properly treated.
