Tenting for Bed Bugs
Tenting & Fumigation for Bed Bugs is Costly
Tenting and fumigation is a bit more effective than applying pesticides, however, using a tent to fumigate a home involves major labor costs and time. In addition, all clothing items must be removed, all edibles must be thrown away and the property must be vacated for 72 hours. Not only is it an inconvenience, the risk for reinfestation is much higher (unless the resident leaves the home without any belongings), the chemicals used may be toxic and it is almost double the cost of a heat treatment and tenting may damage landscaping, trees and grass within close proximity to the main structure of your home, costing even more money.
